I hope this letter finds you well. As a new author with a fresh perspective on storytelling, I am excited to present my debut novel, "The Cure," and I am seeking representation for this thrilling and captivating book.
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Jason Mailey, a native of Council Bluffs, Iowa, currently residing in the United States. In 2017, I embarked on a writing journey that has led me to craft "The Cure," which was published in 2023. As a new author, I have been fortunate to receive recognition for my work, with a featured presence on Readers Magnet and a book review from Pacific Book Review.
Inspired by the literary works of Stephen King, my passion for writing was ignited during my work related travels. This newfound inspiration led me to create "The Cure," a gripping narrative that seamlessly blends action, suspense, and betrayal. It is a story that will keep readers on the edge of their seats from start to finish.
"The Cure" follows scientist Rachael Morgan and Captain Miller as they race against time to stop the spread of Compound Z, a supposed cure for the common cold that the government has recklessly released. Despite Rachael's warnings about its readiness, the government uses the so-called Cure in a small town, turning its inhabitants into infected zombie-like creatures that begin to spread across the state of Texas. Along their perilous journey to halt the spread of this deadly compound, Rachael and Captain Miller encounter a web of cover-ups and betrayal that further heightens the stakes.
